ACCOMMODATION TERMS & CONDITIONS - NORM MARTIN REAL ESTATE
1.Holiday booking arrivals are at 12.00pm and departures at 10.00 am
(except Christmas holidays where arrivals are at 1.00pm and departures are
9.00am). This time frame is to assist the cleaners. School holiday
bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Off season bookings can be any day
according to availability. Late check out is to be organized in advance
with the agent.
2. A $200 deposit is due on all bookings and is payable within 7 days of
making booking, otherwise the booking will be cancelled. The deposit is
accepted in good faith but may be subject to change at owner’s discretion.
The deposit is made up of $175.00 towards rent together with $25.00
booking fee which is non-refundable.
3. In relation to cancellations of bookings, provided 28 days notice in
writing is given, the full amount less $25.00 booking fee will be
refunded. If however, less than 28 days written notice is given to cancel
the booking, the full deposit of $200 will be held as a cancellation fee.
4. Keys are to be collected from our office at Shop 1/27 Cotton Tree
Parade, Cotton Tree between the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
and 9.00am to 1.00pm on Saturdays. When paying your holiday accommodation,
we prefer payment by credit card, eftpos, internet transfer, money order
or bank cheque (we do not accept travellers cheques or personal cheques).
If you are arriving outside office hours, please contact our office to
make alternative arrangements to collect keys. A minimum of $200 deposit
as well as first weeks rent must be paid before keys will be released,
therefore if you are arriving outside our office hours, please keep this
in mind.
5. If you are vacating outside office hours keys are to be left in the
slot marked KEYS alongside our office door. Please be careful not to lose
your keys or leave them in your unit when going out. During office hours
we can assist with spare keys, after hours assistance will cost you a fee
of $60 (0408 544170 or 0423 530457) cash or if we need to contact a
locksmith, it will be a charge of $95.00 (Abetta Locksmith PH 54437245).
6. Accommodation is limited to the number of beds in any unit. Linen is
not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own or alternatively we
can organise linen for you through a linen hire company if you wish. For
any other hire items ie. dvd players, cots, high chairs etc that you may
require, please let us know and our staff will assist you in obtaining
these items.
7. Pets and animals are not permitted in any rented holiday accommodation.
8. Every effort is made to ensure your unit is clean for your arrival.
Most tenants
co-operate and leave the unit tidy and this is greatly appreciated. If the
unit is not left reasonably clean on your departure, you will be charged
an extra cleaning fee.
9. The power and hot water may be turned off in the unit when you arrive.
You will find a switch in one of the main cupboards or near the main
entrance door into the unit. Please turn the ‘on’/’off’ switches to ‘on’.
The same applies to the fridge which you can turn on at the power point
behind or along side the fridge.
10. When leaving the unit, we would appreciate it if you would close all
doors and windows for security reason and also in case of sudden storms or
change of weather conditions.
11. PLEASE NOTE Descriptions of holiday accommodation by the agent, in our
brochure, over the telephone or on the internet is given in good faith.
The agent will not take any responsibility for errors, omissions or
misconceptions in descriptions made on any holiday accommodation.
12. Bookings for these properties are made on behalf of the owner and the
agent cannot be held responsible for actions taken by the owner of the
premises outside our control, including rental increases, cancellation of
booking or if the property is sold. We will however do all in our power to
obtain other suitable accommodation for you if this happens.
13. These terms and conditions are in place to ensure holiday rentals are kept
at a reasonable rate.
14. The person's that makes the booking shall be responsible for the cost
of any damages to the unit, furniture and equipment or the replacement of
lost or damaged keys.
